The sounds and vibrations of the gong help you in many ways:
- they aid the release the heaviness of winter and stagnant energy
- they support inner clarity and renewal
- they create space for new intentions and beginnings
- you experience deep peace and presence
This is a night where you don’t need to do anything. It is enough simply to be present. Allow yourself to awaken — softly, naturally, in your own rhythm. Just like spring. You are held in a space of sound. You are welcomed into a new beginning. To receive everything that is, and everything new that is on its way.
You will be met by 11 gongs and several other instruments.
We begin with a 2‑hour concert, followed by a continuous, restorative, nourishing, and renewing sound journey that lasts through the entire night.
WHY GONG AND SOUND HEALING? The gong is an ancient and awe‑inspiring metal percussion instrument with a powerful, all‑encompassing resonance. This sacred instrument, considered one of the oldest musical tools in the world, is known for its mystical sound and rich overtones. These tones support deep relaxation and help bring the mind into a calm state.
Gong sounds influence the brain by guiding it into theta and alpha wave states, which in turn support creativity and strengthen the immune system. Our thoughts, feelings, emotions, words, and actions are also vibrations that we radiate outward. Through gong sound, these vibrations can be reorganized, shifted, and balanced.
People who have participated in gong meditations and ceremonies often share that they feel rested, refreshed, and full of inspiration afterward. They discover new solutions to problems, find answers to questions, and experience inner peace, joy, bliss, and bursts of creativity.
During Gong Night, we use sound healing as a tool for transformation. It is not merely a method of relaxation — it is something much more. Targeted frequencies and intentional sound direction help clear energetic blockages, support emotional release, and guide you into a state where deep inner change becomes possible.
CHILDREN
Children have always been welcome at our gong nights, and they tend to feel very comfortable, peaceful, and natural in gong frequencies — even with louder sounds, as children naturally live in higher vibrational states. Still, you know your child best, and if loud sounds are not suitable for them, it may be better not to bring them.
NB: Contraindications for Gong Journeys
- Strong tinnitus or hearing disorders — Intense sound therapy may irritate or worsen hearing issues.
- Psychiatric conditions — Post‑traumatic states or other mental health challenges may make the sounds anxiety‑inducing.
- Epilepsy — Rhythmic and strong sounds may trigger seizures.
- Recent trauma — Fresh traumatic experiences may increase the risk of emotional overwhelm.
- High‑risk pregnancy — While generally safe, caution is advised in high‑risk cases.
Important: If you have a diagnosed health condition, consult the organizer or your healthcare provider before participating.
