Alar Krautman

Alar Krautman is a traveler between the worlds of the body, power, and ancestral wisdom.

His life has been interwoven with massage, traditional therapies, sauna rituals, energy work, and the exploration of the deeper nature of the human being. At just 16, he discovered Ayurveda and the healing power of touch, and by the age of 20 he was already working as the massage therapist for the Estonian national cross‑country skiing team.

For more than 30 years, he has studied and taught various traditional medicines and therapies — from India, Thailand, China, and Japan to Estonia’s own ancestral wisdom traditions. He is the founder of the Terviseakadeemia (Health Academy) that carries his name and has shared his knowledge in hundreds of courses and workshops both in Estonia and abroad.

For Alar, health is not merely a matter of the body. It is the harmony of a person’s power, soul, body, and life. Over the years, he has created and developed several therapeutic and massage modalities, but in recent years his deepest focus has been the Course on Being Human — a journey into one’s primal nature, life force, love, inspiration, power, awareness, and connection.

He believes that ancient wisdom does not live only in books or rituals, but in our bodies, in touch, in breath, in the sauna, in nature, and in presence. In all his work, he seeks a bridge between the material and the unseen — a place where a person can once again remember their natural power.

At the Connected festival, Alar will share what he has understood, felt, and experienced over decades — through touch, presence, men’s power, and sauna wisdom.
